We are pleased to announce that Michael Widen is hired as new Country Manager in Aktiv Kapital Finland’s operation based in Helsinki.
Michael Widen is 33 years and his most recent position was in GE Capital Solutions as Branch Manager in Finland and Head of collection for the Nordic organization. Michael has held various positions within GE Capital Solutions since 2003; starting as Risk underwriter, becoming Risk Manager before being promoted as Branch Manager and Head of collection. Michael Widen has studied Business Administration at Åbo Akademi in Finland.
Aktiv Kapital Finland has two business areas; Debt collection for third parties and non-performing portfolio acquisition and servicing. The revenue in 2007 was approximately 27 mill Euro. The collected amount on portfolios owned by Aktiv Kapital Finland in 2007 was 30 MEUR and the income from third party debt collection was 7 MEUR.
Erik Oyno, CEO & President of Aktiv Kapital Group states that he is confident that Michael Widen with his energetic management style, analytic ability and experience from the financial and collection industries, will make a significant contribution to Aktiv Kapital’s further development of the Finnish operation.
Michael Widen will take on the position from September 8th.
